Grants, Funding and Sponsorship

Smithfield RSL values the local community and provides support via grant funding and sponsorship. The club supports local community initiatives and also charity organisations involved with work in Australia. Each year we hold a number of charity functions at the club such as the World's Greatest Shave supporting the Leukaemia Foundation. Some of the organisations we have an ongoing relationship with includes Westfield Sports High, Australian Red Cross, Cancer Council, Westmead Ovarian Support Group, Variety ,The Children's Charity (NSW).
On Wednesday 19th December 2012, the Board of Directors, along with Senior Management, visited the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Smithfield RSL donated almost $100,000 through its Club Grants scheme. Read more |  |
